Taxus baccata 45 CM BALL C15

Taxus baccata, the English yew, is a dense, long-lived evergreen conifer that clips beautifully, making this 45 cm topiary ball a classic choice for formal structure in borders, entrances and containers. Its fine, dark-green foliage tolerates sun or deep shade and suits most well-drained soils, including chalk. Slow-growing and easy to maintain, it holds a crisp shape with one or two trims a year; avoid waterlogged sites. On female plants, red arils may appear in autumn (seeds inside are poisonous if eaten).
