Taxus baccata 25-30 cm Bol

Taxus baccata, the classic English yew, is a dense, slow-growing evergreen conifer that clips beautifully into long-lasting shapes. Supplied here as a compact 25–30 cm topiary ball, it offers year-round structure for formal designs, entrances, and containers. Renowned for its tolerance of sun or shade and a wide range of soils (including chalk), yew prefers well-drained conditions and avoids waterlogging. Once established it copes with dry shade, making it a reliable structural plant for courtyards, borders, and repeated, clipped planting schemes.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
