SCABIOSA cauc. 'Pink Mist'

SCABIOSA cauc. Pink Mist

Scabiosa caucasica ‘Pink Mist’ is a clump-forming, herbaceous perennial for sunny Irish borders, producing elegant, soft pink pincushion blooms on wiry stems above neat mounds of green foliage. Flowering freely from summer into early autumn, it’s ideal for mixed borders and cutting, and benefits from deadheading to extend the display. Grow in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil; it performs well on neutral to alkaline ground, including chalk, and dislikes winter wet. A good choice for pollinator-friendly, cottage-style plantings.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
