Erysimum Leya Yellow Glow

Erysimum Leya Yellow Glow

Erysimum Leya Yellow Glow

Erysimum ‘Leya Yellow Glow’ is a compact, long-flowering perennial wallflower ideal for sunny Irish borders and containers. It carries warm yellow blooms from spring into early summer above neat, narrow evergreen foliage, and is best in a sheltered, well-drained spot. Suited to lighter, chalky or moderately fertile soils, it copes with dry sun once established; avoid heavy or waterlogged ground. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further display and refresh plants every few years if they become woody. Loved by bees and other pollinators, it brings reliable colour to the front of borders and patio pots.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
