LAVATERA x.clem.'Bredon Springs'

Lavatera x clementii ‘Bredon Springs’ is a vigorous, fast-growing evergreen shrub mallow forming a bushy plant to around 2–3m in height and spread, producing a long summer display of open, mallow-like blooms from July to September. Grow in full sun in light, well-drained, moderately fertile soil (including chalk) and choose a warm, sheltered position; prune hard in early spring to encourage strong new flowering growth. Well suited to sunny mixed borders and informal, cottage-style planting in Irish gardens, and the flowers are attractive to pollinators.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
