Sanguisorba 'Pink Brushes'

Sanguisorba 'Pink Brushes'

Sanguisorba 'Pink Brushes' is a clump-forming, deciduous perennial producing soft pink, brush-like flower spikes in summer above fresh green foliage. Well suited to Irish gardens, it grows best in sun or light shade and moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Its airy stems and summer colour make it a fine choice for informal borders and naturalistic plantings, and the nectar-rich blooms are attractive to pollinating insects. Expect an eventual size around 60–90cm tall and 30–60cm wide.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
