Rhodanthemum 'African Spring'

Rhodanthemum 'African Spring'

Rhodanthemum 'African Spring'

Rhodanthemum 'African Spring' is a compact, silver-grey-leaved perennial forming a neat mound and carrying daisy-like white flowers with a contrasting dark centre from late spring into early summer. Reaching about 30cm tall and wide, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, suits rock gardens, containers and the front of borders, and its open blooms are valuable for pollinators in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
