Rhodanthemum 'African Rose'

Rhodanthemum 'African Rose'

Rhodanthemum 'African Rose' is a compact, mat-forming Moroccan daisy for sunny, free-draining sites in Ireland. It makes a low mound of finely cut foliage and carries daisy-like blooms from late spring into early summer. Grow in full sun and sharply drained soil—light sandy or chalky, and only moderately fertile—as it dislikes winter wet. Ideal for rock and gravel gardens, the front of sunny borders, edging, and containers with excellent drainage. Deadhead to extend the display and trim lightly after flowering to keep plants neat; expect a height around 20–30cm and a spreading habit reaching 40–60cm over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
