Primula belarina White

Primula belarina White

Primula belarina White is a compact, clump-forming primrose prized for its fully double white blooms held above neat rosettes of green leaves in early to mid spring. Ideal for containers, the front of borders and woodland-style plantings, it thrives in Ireland in moisture-retentive, humus-rich but well-drained soil with sun or light shade. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage a longer display and keep the crown from drying out in summer. Forms low mounds to around 20–30cm across and up to 20cm tall over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
