Primula belarina Butter Yellow
Primula belarina Butter Yellow
Primula belarina Butter Yellow is a compact, clump-forming primrose with fully double, butter-yellow blooms in spring above neat rosettes of foliage. A semi-evergreen perennial for Ireland, it thrives in moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in sun or light shade, making a cheerful choice for containers, the front of borders and informal cottage-style plantings. Eventual size around 20cm high and 20cm across.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
