Phlox 'Famous Light Purple'

Phlox 'Famous Light Purple'

Phlox 'Famous Light Purple'

Phlox 'Famous Light Purple' is a compact, well‑branched perennial phlox producing masses of light purple, sweetly scented flower clusters from midsummer into early autumn in Ireland. Ideal for sunny to lightly shaded borders and cottage‑garden schemes, it’s excellent for cutting and much loved by pollinators. Grow in moisture‑retentive, fertile, humus‑rich, well‑drained soil and deadhead to prolong display; height around 45–50cm.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
