Phlox Candy Stripes

Moss phlox (Phlox subulata ‘Candy Stripe’) is a low, mat-forming evergreen perennial with fine, needle-like foliage that forms a dense carpet, ideal for spilling over walls and edging rockeries. In late spring it is smothered in starry bicolour blooms—white petals marked with soft pink stripes—creating a crisp, eye-catching display. Best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, it’s useful for rock gardens, containers, the front of borders, and sunny courtyard beds. Eventual size about 20cm tall and 50cm across.
