Miscanthus sin. Flamingo P17

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Flamingo’ is a graceful, clump-forming ornamental grass valued for its airy pink flower plumes that rise in late summer and age to silvery tones above narrow, arching green foliage. Robust and low-maintenance, it brings movement and long-season structure to borders and mixed plantings, with dried plumes offering winter interest. Grow in full sun and moderately fertile, well-drained soil; cut back old stems in late winter to make way for fresh growth. Fully hardy and reliable in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
