Lysichiton camtschatcensis P9

Lysichiton camtschatcensis (Asian skunk cabbage) is a striking marginal perennial for bog gardens and pond edges, producing large, pure-white spathes around a green spadix in spring (April–May), followed by bold green foliage. Grow in humus-rich, permanently moist to wet soil or shallow water at the pond margin, in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy and vigorous, it forms substantial clumps that lend strong architectural impact beside water.
