Lupinus Gallery Blue

Lupinus Gallery Blue

Lupinus Gallery Blue

Lupinus Gallery Blue is a compact, deciduous perennial lupin prized for its upright spires of rich blue, pea-like flowers in early summer. Ideal for Irish borders and cottage-style plantings, it forms a neat clump around 45–60cm tall and 30–45cm wide, providing a bold vertical accent that attracts pollinating insects. Grow in full sun or light shade, in moderately fertile, humus-rich, well-drained soil that is neutral to acid; avoid chalky soils. Good air circulation and shelter from strong winds help keep plants at their best; removing spent flower spikes keeps the display tidy.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
