Kniphofia 'Papaya Popsicle'

Kniphofia 'Papaya Popsicle'

Kniphofia 'Papaya Popsicle' is a compact red hot poker for Irish gardens, forming clumps of narrow, grass-like leaves and sending up upright spikes of glowing orange-red flowers in summer, often continuing into early autumn. Plant in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, taking care to avoid winter wet; its neat habit (around 60–90cm tall and 30–60cm wide) suits sunny borders and containers with sharp drainage, adding vivid colour and strong vertical accents.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
