HELLEBORUS Ivory Prince

HELLEBORUS Ivory Prince

Helleborus ‘Ivory Prince’ (often listed as Helleborus × ericsmithii ‘Walhelivor’) is a compact, evergreen hellebore valued for its long winter display. From midwinter into early spring, it carries plentiful outward-facing, creamy-white flowers that gradually blush pink and take on soft green tones as they age, held neatly above leathery, deep green foliage. Ideal for brightening shaded borders or winter containers in Ireland, it thrives in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, best in neutral to alkaline conditions. A steady, reliable plant: remove old leaves in winter to showcase the flowers and mulch annually to conserve moisture and improve the soil. Fully hardy and low-maintenance once established.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
