Helleborus HGC Ice N Roses Red

Helleborus HGC Ice N Roses Red

Helleborus HGC Ice N Roses Red is a robust, evergreen hellebore forming neat clumps of leathery, dark green foliage, topped in winter and early spring with outward-facing, rich red blooms. Ideal for brightening lightly shaded borders and woodland-style plantings in Ireland, it performs well under deciduous shrubs or trees and is also suited to containers. Plant in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil; it will tolerate heavier clay and chalky conditions. Site in sun or light shade, avoid waterlogging, and remove the oldest leaves in late winter to showcase the flowers and keep plants tidy.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
