Geranium psilo. Anne Folkard

Geranium psilo. Anne Folkard

Geranium psilo. Anne Folkard

Geranium ‘Anne Folkard’ is a vigorous, scrambling hardy geranium valued for its vivid magenta‑purple, black‑centred flowers held above bright yellow‑green foliage from early summer into early autumn. Ideal for weaving through shrubs and roses, spilling over edges or filling gaps in mixed borders, it performs well in sun or light shade on moderately fertile, moist but well‑drained soil. Deciduous and low, typically around 50cm tall, it is long‑flowering in Irish gardens and attractive to pollinators.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
