DIGITALIS pur. Pams Choice

DIGITALIS pur. Pams Choice

Digitalis ‘Pam’s Choice’ is a striking foxglove with tall, upright spires of large, creamy-white bells boldly blotched deep maroon inside, bringing vertical interest to mixed borders and classic cottage plantings. Flowering in early to midsummer, it thrives in light shade or in sun if the soil stays moist, in fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained ground. A biennial or short-lived perennial that often self-seeds; allow a few seedlings to maintain continuity or deadhead after flowering to limit spread. Excellent for bees and other pollinators. All parts are toxic if ingested; sap may irritate skin.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
