Acer palmatum Orange Dream 3 Ltr pot

Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' is a compact, deciduous Japanese maple prized for its luminous spring foliage that opens orange-yellow, softening to yellow-green in summer, before colouring rich orange to red in autumn. Forming a small, multi-branched tree or large shrub with delicate, finely lobed leaves, it makes an elegant focal point for containers, courtyards, and Japanese-inspired planting. Grow in a sheltered spot in sun or light shade, in moist but well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic to neutral soil. Growth is slow to moderate, ultimately reaching around 2–4m in height and spread. Hardy, though young leaves can be marked by late frosts or hot, drying winds—provide some protection from intense afternoon sun and exposure. Prune lightly in late winter only to remove dead or crossing shoots and maintain shape.
