Acer palmatum 'Bihoo' 3 Ltr pot

Acer palmatum 'Bihoo' 3 Ltr pot

Acer pal. Bihoo

Acer palmatum 'Bihoo' is a compact, deciduous Japanese maple prized for its vivid yellow young stems that bring bright winter interest. Its delicately lobed leaves emerge yellow-green in spring, mature to fresh green in summer, and develop warm yellow to orange tones in autumn. Slow growing to around 2–3m, it makes an elegant specimen for small gardens or containers. Best in partial shade in a sheltered spot, in humus-rich, moist but well-drained, acid to neutral soil; protect from cold, drying winds and strong midday sun to reduce leaf scorch.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
