ACER PALM. ORANGE LACE

ACER PALM. ORANGE LACE

Acer palmatum ‘Orange Lace’ is a refined Japanese maple prized for its elegant branching and seasonal foliage interest, making a superb focal point for small gardens and containers in Ireland. Best grown in a sheltered spot with dappled or light shade, it prefers moist but well‑drained, humus‑rich soil that is neutral to acidic. Provide protection from cold, drying winds and strong midday sun to help prevent leaf scorch. This slow-growing, deciduous tree needs little pruning beyond light shaping, and is ideal for calm, architectural or Japanese‑inspired plantings.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.

Growth Rate of Growth: Slow-growing
