LAVANDULA an. Essence Purple (Lavender)

Lavandula angustifolia ‘Essence Purple’ is a compact, aromatic lavender prized for its rich purple summer flowers and silvery evergreen foliage. Perfect for sunny Irish gardens, it forms neat mounds around 30–60cm tall, suiting borders, edging, gravel gardens and containers where excellent drainage is assured. Best in full sun and well-drained, light or chalky soils, it is drought tolerant once established and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. Expect a generous flush of fragrant blooms from June into August.
