T. fortunei (Chinese windmill palm) is an evergreen, hardy (can stand up to -15C), palm forming a small tree with a stout, fibre-covered trunk bearing a terminal tuft of deeply divided, fan-shaped dark green leaves and large arching sprays of small, light yellow flowers. Height and Spread: 12 x 2.5 m. Aspect: South, West or East.
