Amelanchier can. Rainbow Pillar

Amelanchier canadensis 'Rainbow Pillar' is a slender, upright serviceberry valued for its neat, columnar habit that suits narrow borders, avenues and smaller gardens. In early spring it produces masses of starry white blossom, bringing reliable seasonal interest before the leaves fully develop. It thrives in Irish conditions in full sun to light shade, performing best in moist, well-drained, lime-free (acid) soil. A steady grower and fully hardy, it needs little pruning beyond light shaping to maintain its naturally tidy, vertical outline.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
