Thuja occidentalis ‘Smaragd’ is a slow-growing, narrowly conical evergreen conifer valued for its dense, bright emerald-green, scale-like foliage that holds its colour well throughout the year. Ideal for neat hedges, slim screens or a smart focal point in Irish gardens, it establishes steadily and lends reliable structure with minimal maintenance. Plant in sun or light shade on moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil. Supplied height: approximately 125–150 cm.
