SENECIO ANGEL WINGS

SENECIO ANGEL WINGS

Senecio ‘Angel Wings’ is a tender, evergreen perennial grown for its large, velvety, silvery-white leaves that add luminous contrast and soft texture in Irish gardens. It thrives in full sun to light shade and free-draining, moderately fertile soil; avoid winter wet. In Ireland it is half hardy and benefits from a sheltered spot and frost protection, especially in colder areas; container plants can be moved under cover for winter. Forming a compact, mounded clump around 30–40cm tall and 40–50cm wide, it’s excellent for pots, edging and focal accents; small yellow daisies may appear in summer, but it’s chiefly valued for its bold foliage.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
