Prunus incisa Kojou-no-mai 4.5 Ltr pot

Prunus incisa Kojou-no-mai 4.5 Ltr pot

Prunus incisa ‘Kojou‑no‑mai’ is a compact, deciduous Fuji cherry prized for its twiggy, zig‑zag branches and profuse early spring blossom. In March to April, pale pink buds open to masses of single white flowers on bare stems, making a luminous focal point before the fresh green foliage appears; leaves often develop attractive orange‑red tints in autumn. Best in a sheltered spot with good light and well‑drained, moderately fertile soil, it is a reliable, slow‑to‑moderate grower that needs little routine pruning beyond removing any dead, damaged or congested shoots after flowering.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
