Prunus a. Early Rivers 7.5L

Prunus avium 'Early Rivers' is an early-season sweet cherry valued for its profuse white spring blossom and subsequent dark red dessert cherries. A deciduous tree with green foliage, it performs best in full sun and a sheltered position, in fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained soil; avoid frost pockets to protect the blossom. Suitable for training as a bush or fan where space is limited, or grown as a lightly pruned tree for reliable flowering and fruiting in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
