PHOTINIA SERR. RED ROBIN CLT 55 TRONCO 150 CM CIRC. TR. 12 - 14 CM 3/4 STD
PHOTINIA SERR. RED ROBIN CLT 55 TRONCO 150 CM CIRC. TR. 12 - 14 CM 3/4 STD
Photinia × fraseri 'Red Robin' is a vigorous, evergreen standard tree prized for its striking flushes of bright red young foliage that mature to glossy green, giving year-round structure and colour. Clusters of small white flowers may appear in spring if not pruned. Thrives in full sun or light shade in moist but well-drained, fertile soil, and benefits from a reasonably sheltered position. Light trimming after the spring flush helps maintain a neat crown and encourages fresh red growth. Typically reaches several metres in time if left unpruned, and is well suited to formal or architectural planting and screening in Irish gardens.
This is a standard tree with a clear stem and a shaped crown above. The tree was grown up to this stem height and then pruned to stop the trunk growing taller. The clear stem will remain at the height you receive it at, with future growth coming from the top of the tree.
To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
