Persian Spire is an upright and narrow, deciduous tree, offering year-round interest. The leaves are borne deep purple in Spring, turning green with purple edges in Summer. They eventually turn yellow, orange and red in Autumn before falling. In late winter, the small red flowers appear on bare wood.
