Ginkgo biloba is a distinctive, long-lived deciduous tree prized for its elegant, fan-shaped leaves that turn a vivid yellow in autumn. Best in full sun in Ireland, it grows in moist but well-drained, fertile soil and tolerates a wide pH range and urban air pollution. Slow to establish, it eventually forms a handsome specimen with strong architectural presence, ideal as a focal point or avenue tree in larger gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height.
