Acer palmatum Dissectum 4 Ltr pot

Acer palmatum Dissectum Group is a graceful, finely cut Japanese maple with a low, spreading habit and deeply dissected, mid-green foliage that colours well in autumn. Well-suited to sheltered Irish gardens, it prefers partial shade and moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil. Protect from drying winds and late frosts to reduce leaf scorch, and avoid very chalky or drought-prone sites. A slow-growing, small tree or large shrub, typically reaching around 2–4m over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
