Acer palm. Shaina 10 Ltr pot

Acer palmatum 'Shaina' is a compact, slow-growing Japanese maple with a naturally dense, upright habit and finely divided leaves that hold a rich red colour through the growing season, developing attractive autumn tints. It thrives in moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich soil that is slightly acidic, in light shade; it can tolerate sun if the site is sheltered and the soil does not dry out. Ideal for small gardens and containers, and best protected from cold, drying winds to keep foliage in good condition.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
