Acer palm. Orange Dream 60-80 CM C6.5

Acer palm. Orange Dream 60-80 CM C6.5

Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' is a compact Japanese maple prized for its vibrant spring colour and graceful, small-tree form. New foliage opens bright yellow to orange, maturing to yellow-green through summer before turning rich orange and red in autumn. Best in a sheltered spot, it suits containers or small gardens where its delicate, finely lobed leaves can be appreciated. Grow in moist, humus-rich, acidic to neutral, well-drained soil in sun or light shade, protected from cold, drying winds; avoid chalky or very dry soils. Minimal pruning is needed, limited to removing dead or crossing shoots in late winter.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
