ACER PALM. GOING GREEN CIOTOLA 55 LT 40 H 125 CM CEPPAIA OMBRELLO

Acer palmatum 'Going Green' is a refined, deciduous Japanese maple grown for its fresh green, finely lobed foliage and graceful, layered habit. It performs best in Ireland in a sheltered spot with sun or light shade, on fertile, moisture-retentive but well-drained, humus-rich soil that is neutral to acidic; avoid chalky ground. A superb choice for courtyards, sheltered borders and large containers, where its foliage provides seasonal interest and reliable autumn colour. Protect young growth from late spring frost and cold, drying winds.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.

Soil Soil: Moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich; prefers neutral to acidic soil; avoid chalk
