ACER PALM. CASCADE CITRINE

ACER PALM. CASCADE CITRINE

Acer palmatum ‘Cascade Citrine’ is a refined Japanese maple selected for its graceful branching and delicate, deciduous foliage, bringing elegant structure to borders, courtyards, and containers in Irish gardens. Best in a sheltered spot with sun or light shade, it thrives in moist but well‑drained, preferably acidic to neutral soil. Protect from cold, drying winds and avoid very alkaline (chalky) ground. Slow-growing and naturally compact, it makes an excellent focal point and suits Asian-inspired planting schemes, rewarding with characteristic Japanese maple seasonal interest and fine autumn colour.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
