Acer pal. Tamukeyama 175-200 cm C 30L fthd.

Acer palmatum ‘Tamukeyama’ is a classic laceleaf Japanese maple with a gracefully cascading, layered habit and finely dissected foliage. The leaves emerge deep red to purple-red, holding rich colour through the growing season before turning vivid crimson in autumn. Best in a sheltered spot out of drying winds, it thrives in moist but well-drained, fertile soil that is neutral to acid and is ideal as an architectural specimen for small gardens, patios and Japanese-inspired planting. Ultimately forms a compact small tree within the 2–5m range over time.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
