Acer palmatum 'Orange Dream' is a compact, bushy Japanese maple valued for luminous spring growth: new leaves open bright yellow with warm orange tones at the edges, deepen to soft yellow‑green in summer, then take on rich yellow to orange hues in autumn. This deciduous small tree forms a neat, multi‑stem habit ideal for containers, courtyards, and smaller gardens, lending a refined, Japanese aesthetic as a specimen or focal point. Grow in moist but well‑drained, humus‑rich, preferably acidic soil, in light shade and a sheltered position to protect delicate foliage from cold, drying winds and strong midday sun; avoid chalky soils.
