Acer pal. Firecracker P32

Acer palmatum 'Firecracker' is a compact Japanese maple prized for its graceful, branching form and delicate, finely textured foliage. A superb choice for small gardens, courtyards and containers, it thrives in sun or light shade with shelter from cold, drying winds. Plant in a moisture-retentive but well-drained, fertile, preferably acid to neutral soil, and mulch annually to keep roots cool and moist. Small, inconspicuous spring flowers may appear, but the tree is chiefly grown for its elegant structure and seasonal foliage interest, making it an excellent specimen for Asian-inspired and architectural planting schemes.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
