Acer pal. Dissectum Flavescens 175-200 cm C 30L fthd.

Acer palmatum (Dissectum Group) ‘Flavescens’ is a slow-growing, deciduous cut‑leaf Japanese maple valued for its finely dissected foliage and graceful, cascading habit. Young leaves emerge soft yellow in spring, maturing to fresh green through summer and often colouring rich gold to orange in autumn. Best in light shade with shelter from cold, drying winds, it prefers a moist but well‑drained, fertile soil that is neutral to acidic (avoid chalk). An excellent choice for small gardens, containers, and Japanese‑inspired planting where delicate texture and seasonal colour are desired.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
