Aubrieta Bicolour

Aubrieta Bicolour is a compact, mat-forming evergreen perennial ideal for rock gardens, wall crevices, edging and containers, forming tight cushions of foliage and covering itself with spring blossom. It performs best in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil, and is tolerant of chalk and light, sandy soils. Fully hardy in Irish gardens, it typically reaches about 10 cm in height with a spread around 30–45 cm. Flowers in spring are valued by pollinators; lightly trim after flowering to keep the mat neat and encourage fresh growth.
