Allium Magic 3L

Allium Magic 3L

Ornamental alliums are prized for their elegant, globe-like flowerheads held on slender stems above tidy, strap-like foliage. They are superb in sunny, well-drained borders and gravel gardens, mingling beautifully with cottage-style perennials and grasses. Flowerheads often dry attractively for extended interest, and stems are excellent for cutting. Grow in full sun and well-drained, moderately fertile soil; avoid waterlogged sites. Once established they are resilient in dry summer spells and are valuable for bees and other pollinators in Irish gardens.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
