Agapanthus Poppin Purple

Agapanthus Poppin Purple

Agapanthus Poppin Purple is a clump-forming perennial valued for its neat, strap-shaped green leaves and strong stems topped with rounded heads of rich purple flowers from midsummer into early autumn (typically July to September). It performs best in full sun in Ireland, in moist but well-drained, moderately fertile soil, and is excellent for sunny borders or containers where its upright form can be repeated for a smart, formal look; deadhead spent blooms to keep plants tidy and in colder areas provide winter protection for the crown to guard against severe frost.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
