3 in a pack
Growing garlic:
Divide the bulbs and plant each clove separately from late autumn or early spring. It will prefer a neutral to alkaline soil, with well-rotted matter dug in prior planting.
Plant the cloves 15cm apart, 2.5cm (1inch) of soil above the clove.
Harvest when the foliage has turned yellow (early summer for the autumn sown cloves, early autumn for bulbs planted in spring).
Softneck vs hardneck:
Softneck: smaller cloves that store for longer
Hardneck: Larger cloves (but fewer) with a stronger flavour.
