Hydrangea pan. 'Pinky Winky' 40-50 cm.

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Pinky Winky’ is a deciduous shrub valued for its large, conical flower panicles that open white in mid to late summer and progressively flush pink from the base into early autumn, giving a striking two‑tone effect. Reliable in Irish gardens, it thrives in sun or light shade in a moist but well-drained, fertile, humus-rich soil. Prune in late winter or early spring to a framework to encourage strong new shoots and plentiful blooms. Eventual size around 2–3m, making it an excellent feature shrub or anchor for mixed borders.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
