Hydrangea pan. 'Silver Dollar' 50-60 cm.

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Silver Dollar’ is a compact, upright, deciduous shrub valued for its dense, conical panicles of creamy-white flowers that develop soft pink tints as the season advances. Flowering reliably from mid to late summer into early autumn in Irish gardens, it thrives in sun or light shade on moisture-retentive, well-drained, fertile soil. Fresh green foliage provides a clean backdrop to the long-lasting blooms, making it an excellent choice for mixed borders and smaller gardens. For best flowering, prune in late winter or early spring to a low framework to encourage vigorous new shoots carrying large panicles, and keep the soil evenly moist during dry spells.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
