Hydrangea mac. mixed trolley normal

This mixed trolley features Hydrangea macrophylla selections offering the classic summer display of mophead and lacecap blooms. Deciduous and forming rounded shrubs around 1–2m over time, they produce showy flowerheads from mid to late summer into early autumn, with colour varying by cultivar and by soil chemistry (acid soils encourage blue tones; neutral to alkaline favour pinks/reds). For best results in Irish gardens, plant in a moisture-retentive, fertile, well-drained soil in sun or, preferably, light shade; shelter from cold, drying winds and protect developing buds from late spring frosts. Excellent for mixed borders and large containers; deadhead after flowering and prune lightly in spring, cutting back spent heads to the first strong pair of buds.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
