Hydrangea arb. Annabelle

Hydrangea arborescens ‘Annabelle’ is a much-loved smooth hydrangea celebrated for its huge domed heads of white flowers that appear reliably from mid to late summer, above a mound of fresh green, deciduous foliage. Grow in moist but well‑drained, moderately fertile soil in sun or light shade; avoid very dry sites. Fully hardy and easy to maintain; prune in late winter to encourage strong new shoots and a superb display. Excellent for mixed borders and cutting, with flowerheads that can also be left for autumn and winter interest.
